  • All writing takes place in class.

Engelska v. 3-4 8C & 8D

Hej 8C och 8D!

Vi börjar terminen med att se filmen Suffragette som ni ska arbeta med i historian. På engelskan  kommer vi dessutom att träna på ord från filmen, läsa en text om filmen och ha en gruppdiskussion som ni spelar in och får bedömd.

Gruppdiskussionen spelas in onsdag 24/1 för 8C och fredag 26/1 för 8D.

Betygssamtal tisdag 19/12

Hej 8D!

Välkomna att hämta era sista bedömda uppgifter och få information om ert terminsbetyg tisdag 19/12. Jag finns i C321 mellan klockan 13:35 och 14:00 och klockan 15:00-16:00.

  • Practise your listening and speaking skills

  • See the film The Fault in our Stars. 
  • Learn new words from the film. Quizlet: The Fault in our Stars.
  • Participate in a group discussion about the film where you summarize the content and give your opinion of the film.

 När?/ When?

  • Week 48-50


  • At the end of the project you will participate in a group discussion about the film. You will record you discussion and then receive individual feedback on your spoken English.
  • The discussion takes place on Monday week 50 for 8C and on Thursday week 50 for 8D.




  • Practise your reading and writing skills

  • Read the novel Coraline by Neil Gaiman
  • Write three to five reading journal entries
  • Learn new words from the novel

 När?/ When?

  • Week 43-47


  • During this project your reading and writing skills will be assessed.
  • The book has been divided into five parts and there are vocabulary lists and reading journal questions for each part. You will receive feedback in your notebook during the project.
  • Deadline for handing in your work is Friday week 47 when you should have completed at least part 1-3 of the reading journal.
